The Love for Pacifica Body Butter is Real

Pacifica intensely moisturizing body butter reviewI cannot live without body butter, I slather them on my entire body every time after shower. It’s not the most enjoyable thing to do in the world, but I do notice a big difference when I stop doing so – the skin on my body will start getting crumbly and itchy.

So yes, I go through a tube/bottle of body lotion like no one’s business. The Body Shop body butter has been my go-to for as long as I can remember: they are affordable, they moisturize well and they often smell lovely. But I think there is now a new contender for the top spot, the Pacifica body butter.

I purchased them in a whim from iHerb as I was in the mood to try something new, and they turned out to be a total surprise! I have Tuscan Blood Orange and Malibu Lemon Blossom, both of them smell so good that I often find myself open the lid and trying to sniff in the heavenliness even after having my whole body covered in the body butter. For the scent alone, it has justified repurchase in my book! Plus, did you see how cute the package look?

Pacifica intensely moisturizing body butter reviewThe body butter itself is great as well, it’s not as thick as most of The Body Shop ones, but not as running or liquidy as your typical body lotion, and locks in the hydrating the whole day, whole night. To me, it’s the perfect consistency and texture for an all-year long body moisturizer, it works in the hot humid summer, also performs well in cold dry winter.

It’s not luxurious as my holy grail Kiehl’s Creme De Corps Whipped Body Butter in Soy Milk & Honey, but it also comes at a much lower price tag. For people who are conscious with natural ingredients and animal testing, you will be happy to know that Pacifica is a natural beauty brand and their skin care products are formulated without:

Animal testing, animal ingredients, phthalates, parabens, sulfates, propylene glycol, benzene, mineral oil, petroleum, peanut oil, triclosan, and other ingredients you do not want on your skin.

Have you tried any of Pacifica body butters? Which scent should I try next?
