Finally, I’m on holiday! Feels like it’s been ages since I was completely detached from work emails last time. It’s now 10am on Thursday, and I just crawled out of bed, recovering from a night of strolling and non-stop eating at Bangkok night market, seriously, cannot ask for more!
While on holiday, thought I would quickly pop up a post and share what are the makeup products I have brought with me for a low maintenance day-to-day look.
Still loving my Burberry luminous fluid base + Bobbi Brown Intensive Skin serum foundation SPF 40 combination, which is in my Spring makeup routine. I mix one pump of each product at the back of my hand and buff it in with Bobbi Brown dual ended full coverage face brush for a natural, glowy and semi dewy base. It’s just the right amount of glow I want and lasts all day without any touch up.
I’m going as simple as possible. Really, who has the time to blend, blend and blend eyeshadows when in the holiday? I’m dusting Radiant Light (the darkest shade) from the Hourglass ambient lighting palette all over the lids, which gives a nice wash of color, subtle but a bit more put together, then add my usual winged eyeliner, finish it off with Isehan Kiss Me Heroine long and curl mascara – quite possibly the most waterproof mascara you can find in the market, and it holds curl like nobody’s business!
Bringing along my trusty Hourglass ambient light blush palette. Every shade is gorgeous, requires minimal blending efforts, and I have been enjoying mixing different shades together lately, you just can do so many different colors with this palette. Pure love!
Adding a bit of NARS laguna, which I always see this as a perfect holiday bronzer. To set the face and highlight, I’m digging back into the ambient lighting palette – dim light is great for all over the face, and incandescent light is an awesome highlighter that gives you a glow-from-within look.
I’m doing well this time, only 3 lipsticks, that’s good right? Charlotte Tilbury Bitch Perfect, which has been my go-to nude lipstick lately; Charlotte Tilbury Amazing Grace for when I want a bit of more color, and this matte formula lasts long time without drying up the lips; and Chanel Coco Stylo in 216 Lettre, which has been my handbag staple since I purchased it last month, you need a lipstick that you can put on without a mirror, and this is the one.
What products do you usually bring along for holidays?
