April beauty favoritesI’m back on the monthly favorite train now! Seriously, time to get more diligent and cut down those endless hours spent on the couch with Netflix. So let me bundle all the items I have loved (and used the most) throughout April.

Bobbi Brown Concentrated Serum Foundation SPF 40+ and Burberry luminous fluid base has been on my face more than 90% of the time when I wear makeup this month. Just love the finish of this combo, light, dewy, natural and glowy but doesn’t get overly oil or shiny throughout the day, great for this weather. I even brought them with my during my vacation to Bangkok, despite of the non-travel friendly package, so the love is real!

I raved about the Charlotte Tilbury Bitch Perfect lipstick in this post, really, everything about this lipstick is perfection. An out-of-the-world gorgeous package, A cool name, a nice non-drying-but-pigmented-formula, a beautiful color, very decent staying power, it ticks all the boxes. If you can only pick one lipstick from her K.I.S.S.I.N.G line, I would say go with this one.

The love affair with Tom Ford eye defining pen has been going on and on for about 5 months now, and I’m still obsessed with it. It’s the smoothest and easiest liquid eyeliner I have ever used.

Finally digging out my NARS Laguna again for that bronzed (but not too over the top) glowy look, I really think it’s the perfect one for the Spring and Summer, or anytime you want to look fabulous, really. I like to use a big brush such as Bobbi Brown bronzer brush, or a duo fiber brush for a more subtle and obviously-more-healthy look.

I’m also reunited with the Heroine Long & Curl Mascara, and I still think it’s the best if you are looking for a long and curled lashes. No other mascara can hold my straight & downward looking lashes like this one, it’s as if you have done eyelash lift every day.

Since I’ve been using the Heroine mascara, I need a heavy-duty eye makeup remover in my life, because let me tell you, this mascara is waterproof to the maximum, and it’s not coming off easily with regular makeup remover. But I found the Clarins eye makeup remover works exceptionally well with this, it’s gentle enough that it doesn’t irritate my sensitive eyes even a bit, but powerful at the same time that it takes off the mascara completely without any residue in an ease. Very very pleased!

Oh oh, and another semi-beauty related favorite, I cut my hairs! Feeling so much lighter now, and it takes half the time to dry and overall, it’s just time for a good change!
